The Complete Awesomeness of Mary Kay Skin Care

  I have to start off letting you know that I am totally obsessed with skin care products - if it claims to get rid of wrinkles, shrink my pores, make my skin glow, get rid of those unsightly bags under my eyes, and oh boy my all time favorite obsession - great lip gloss - then I am all over that product.

 That being said I have tried many, MANY products to no avail - until my SIL Kim started selling Mary Kay products...ah my skin care wants and desires were met.

 It all started with me trying the "TimeWise Miracle Set" and it lived up to it's name. This set comes with a 3-in-1 Cleanser, Age Fighting Moisturizer, Day Solution w/ SPF 25 and last but certainly not least Night Solution.

 I was skeptical at first but since I love my SIL so dang much I thought I'd give it a shot - I mean why not?? I had spent so much money in the past on skin care products that stunk and didn't do anything except make my skin worse & smelled weird.

 Wow!!  What a difference, no lie - within 2 weeks of using my newly aquired "Miracle Set" I noticed BIG changes.  My skin was softer, my pores were smaller, skin tone improved ( bye-bye splotchy skin) and ....drum roll please...my wrinkles started to fade away into wrinkle heaven (hell?) - you get my point...this stuff really worked!!

 I also had purchased Mary Kay's NouriShine Lip Gloss - to hopefully qeull my desire to try every single lip gloss I could find - and found my perfect lip gloss partner in crime. It is fortified with vitamins A & E as well as other moisturizers and conditioners.  My lips have never been in better condition...bye bye chapped, dry, peeling lips - hello lips that look fantastic (no bragging here, lol, just stating a fact, my lips were in sad shape). There are many colors to choose from so no matter what your skin tone or color preference you should be able to find your shade.

 I was impressed with how long the "TimeWise Miracle Set" lasted - a little goes a long way so it makes it worth every penny...especially to me since my husband is less than impressed with my skin care  obsession - his wallets prayers have been answered : )

 Kim just sent me the latest Mary Kat Catalogue - I had it in my hands for 20 minutes, drooling over all of the choices of total skin care bliss & before I knew it my fingers were dialing her phone number giving her my list of wants (needs to me, who cares what Jim thinks, lol).

 I soon will be the happy owner of such delights as: Limited Edition Liquid Illuminator (shade 1) - there are a choice of two for light or dark skin - Cream Blush, in sheer Bliss (I even love the NAME!!), Liquid Lip color in sherbet (never tried this, but it says it has a minty flavor, how cool - : - )  Peach Satin Hands Pampering Set (this is a new scent, they also offer an unscented set)...this also works great on feet - can't wait to get help my poor dry feet, Mary Kay Hydrating Lotion, and last but not least Nourishine Lip Gloss in Pink Diamonds.  Hurray for me!!  I shall be stalking my mailperson (have to be politically correct here since I have a female carrier) till the super, duper day that she brings me my Mary Kay products - oh and with FREE shipping, another terrific thing.

 Well - another Monday is upon us...more snow is predicted for the upcoming week. I actually like snow days, I feel like one of my girls, waiting with bated breath to get that phone call from the Superintendent of Schools to call and let us know that "due to the inclement  weather, school is closed".
 I remember back in the OLD days when we had to wait to the morning of "the much hoped for cancellation" to find out if our prayers were answered and school was closed. Then I'd be super excited about the cancellation and unable to fall back asleep or super pissed because school wasn't cancelled and couldn't go back to sleep. Ah..the good old days : )
 To anyone following my blogs I feel I must warn you that I am one of those people who totally overuse any and all smilie face, sad face, whatever face..and hearts..so fair warning.  I smile too much in real life too - just to dang happy with my life I guess.
 If you know me in real life or in the FB universe you know that I have IC - Interstitial Cystitis - so I may complain, talk, bitch...whatever about my ever eventful experience having this "pissy" disease - yes, pun INTENDED, ha, : )
